The Hotbuys are out! I really like this collection of HBs too. Everything is really cute! I especially love the black and pink heart tee shirt. The only thing I'm not so crazy about is that wrap(yuch), which will be available the first of January. Is stardoll trying to start a new decade off badly? Haha.

New Friend Status

In the past we only had best friends, family, school friends, and friends. Now we also have Party People, covergirl friends, superstar friends, and club friends. I think it is rather shallow to make a category called "Superstar Friends". I like this new system :)

Yep. It's so ugly. Really ugly. Everything worth wearing sold out pretty fast, which was dissapointing since I stumbled upon it 20 hours after it was realeased. I don't want to post pics it's so ugly, and it's not like anyone reads this blog anyways:(

Gift-O-Meter

The idea behind the gift-o-meter is that when you spend, you get gifts. If you click on the actual meter, which is located just below your chat, then it will give you more information. It only counts though if you spend the money in the starbazaar. Stardoll claims that this campaign will run even after the holiday season.
If anyone can answer this question, I will send you a gift on stardoll:
If you spend 200 dollars and the meter fills up, is there another meter? Are there more gifts? If so, I would really like a picture of the new gifts/meter.

New Dkny.... ALREADY?

Stardoll has already come out with their new DKNY collection. I believe this to be the fall, although it is a little late. This collection has alot more character then the last, but it is also a lot more expensive! Some pieces come close to 30 sd. That's right. From now on, brands such as Philosophy, DKNY, Vivienne Tam, Miss Sixty, and even Voile will be featuring items that cost in the 20-30 sd range. Start saving!

Just so you know, the old DKNY collection is still in the starplaza- the last two pages. My advice- by as much of that collection before you start buying the new one. I would just wait until the huge superstar sale in a month or two before purchasing big pieces from the new collection.

Free Christmas Tree Offer

When I logged on, I got this notice about a free Christmas tree! I suppose that if you are not superstar, you just get the green tree, and superstars get to choose which tree they want. Enjoy!!
Update: Try clicking the tree several times. That's what I did, and i ended up getting two trees!

December Hotbuys!

Yay! New hotbuys. I absolutely love them! The bunny ears are going to be a fun accessory. In order to be noticed, you have to take risks and they are definitely a "risk" piece. I also love the gold purse, which will be for sale on Christmas.
I was a bit surprised with one of the hotbuys- the purple dress. It looks exactly like the purple dress that came out in the last LE collection! I really wanted the LE dress, but it was sold out, so I am very happy with this dress. Overall, a great set of hotbuys!

New Antidote!

Come quick, superstars! Antidote is just out! This time, they have lots of "suite" items. There are lots of decorations for you to put in your rooms. Like Limited Edition, all of the clothes and items WILL run out. Currently, there is a good supply, but I predicate that by the end of the day there will not be much left. The collection is very affordable compared to Limited Edition. It also features many pieces inspired by artists such as Warhol and VanGogh

Tingeling Halloween!

Yay! ANOTHER new store. The new store is ss only, and EXTREMELY expensive. I understand that they are collectables, but really? I would way rather blow 60 bucks on DKNY that I could actualy wear more than one day a year. I advise that you just pull together stuff from other stores to make a great costume! You will save a lot of money, and have a more fun look.

Also, if you look at the store's heading, they misspelled Halloween! Bravo, stardoll!

Stardoll has created a new brand- Baby Phat. Just like Miss Sixty, it is ridiculouslly priced-10 sd necklaces? I don't think it's that cute either. I've been dissapointed by stardoll lately with the new clothes they have came out with.
Also new, Halloween clothes have started coming out, and there is a new Kimora Lee Simmons doll for ss only.

Free Black Star Stuff!

All those black star spoilers? Well, they are here! Except for free this time(sorry everyone who payed for them). There is the pink belted dress, star tights, and black boots. It's finally here! More later- I've got to go to school!

So what do you think? Personally, I don't really like the collection. It's cool, but not my style. The icon print minidress is the best, but it channels Lady Gaga. Overall, it's a letdown. There was so much hype about it, and not much came as a result. It's also really overpriced...
